Blooming spectacle made of tin cans
In September there was a special application of our glances during the “Flower parade Lichtenvoorde”.
Impressive Flower cars passed by in the Achterhoek place, adorned with millions of colorful dahlias. Since 1929, thousands of volunteers have been building the impressive annual spectacle. This event is also on the National Inventory List for Intangible Cultural Heritage. The tins decorated with dahlias represented cartridge cases and together formed an impressive wild boar.
The tins could be distributed afterwards among the volunteers and used for new applications (for example a trash can).
